Aged three I arrived home from nursery school brandishing a drawing I'd made and determinedly  told my mother I was going to draw and write stories for a living. Fast forward thirty something years later, almost 20 of them spent working in animation, I realised all my work was commercial. I needed  to begin working on my own creative ideas, so I began building my own illustration portfolio and writing children's stories and comics.

Alongside my own creative work I continue to work within animation, within a variety of roles including art direction, design and layout for children's TV, animation to creating game concepts. My clients include BBC1, Cbeebies, CITV, Channel 4, S4C, Nickelodeon, Picasso Pictures, Scholastic, Macmillian, DDB, Milo Creative, National Carriage Museum in Porto and AGM Presents. Several of the animation projects I have worked on have either been nominated or won BAFTA'S. For over 10 years I have taught animation at several London universities, exhibited my work In New York ( Too Art for TV)  and London and am a jury member of the Royal Television Awards.

Most recently I worked on the 2D short “Brexited” which is currently debuting at festivals around the world and will be shown as part of the London Film Festival and I have some pieces of work exhibited at the We Built This City gallery, in London as part of their “Best of British” exhibition.

I spend my time living between London and rural Wales, where my husband Matt and I are renovating an old barn into a studio/living space and gallery.
